Hidup.
Kehidupan.
Ya, kehidupan adalah sebuah perjalanan...
perjalananku... yang asal mulanya dari rumah Tuhan... lalu aku diberikan kesempatan untuk mencicipi bagaimana kehidupan di dunia, hingga akhirnya Tuhan kembali menyuruhku pulang,...
Kehidupan.
Sesungguhnya, aku tidak meminta kehidupan ini. Tapi, aku bersyukur, karena aku telah diberi kesempatan untuk hidup. Hidup dalam kehidupan yang Dia Berikan.
Kehidupan yang penuh dengan warna-warna, rasa, cinta, kasih sayang, ujian, cobaan, dan sangat tak terhingga isinya.
Sungguh betapa baiknya Dia... yang tanpa diminta... selalu memberi...
memberi berbagai macam sesuatu yang tak pernah kita duga.
Kehidupan.
Bermula dari setitik air mani, kemudian berubah menjadi wujud yang nyata.
ya... begitulah Tuhan menciptakan makhluk-Nya.
dari sesuatu yang hina, Dia ubah menjadi makhluk yang mulia.
ditiupkan pula ruh dalam jasad kita... dan diutusnya ke dunia...
Kehidupan.
Sebuah perjalanan panjang... yang tak pernah kita tahu di mana awal dan akhirnya...
Sebuah proses yang sangat panjang...
hanya Tuhan yang mengetahui dan memahami apa yang menjadi tujuan hidup kita masing-masing...
walaupun kita mennyembunyikannya dalam hati sekalipun.
Dia Maha Tahu...
Kehidupan.
Ujian, cobaan, rintangan, halangan, rintihan, dan kesedihan, pasti datang.
Tapi Tuhan Maha Baik dan Adil
Dia juga memberikan kita kebahagiaan, kepuasan, kenikmatan, kenyamanan, kesenangan...
Namun kita tidak bisa begitu saja mendapatkan itu dalam kehidupan
tanpa sebuah kesyukuran...
Maka...
Janganlah engkau melupakan apa saja karunia yang telah Dia Berikan padaMu...
Janganlah engkau melupakan tempat kembalimu kelak...
karena...
hanya kepada Dia-lah... kehidupan kita akan berakhir.

my english short story -- THE STUPID SEA HORSE

Aku ada sepotong cerpen bahasa inggris nih...
sisa-sisa dari tugas bahasa Inggris waktu aku kelas 1 SMP dulu...
i wish it will be amusing u all 'n give something useful...

THE STUPID SEA HORSE
Far, in sandy sea-floor, the Crab say to its friend, the Pole Prawn, “Have you heard the news about the Sea-Horse?”
“Not yet. What happened with him?” Ask the Pole Prawn with sleepy.
“The Mermaid had chosen him become the horse of her new cockle cart,” shout the Crab, “so because that, the Mermaid made a special cage in the palace of the God Neptunus.”
“Whew, usually he is boast! Nowadays he definitely more boast again,” say the Pole Prawn.
“Yeah, whereas, he is a stupid sea-horse,” the Crab say again.
While the Crab is chatting with the Pole Prawn, the Sea-Horse swimming into their back, so that they didn’t see him.
Suddenly, the Crab saw the surging sea water.
“Hey, I think the God Neptunus is angry now,” say the Crab, “the sea waves the longer the time, the greater the amount! Maybe the God Neptunus on the warpath with riding the card that pulled by his white horses!” continue the Crab.
“White horses???” speak the Sea-Horse loudly.
“Impossible! I’m the only horse in here. Usually the God Netunus ride the cart that pulled by dolphin. I’ll try to investigate this matter,” say the Sea-Horse.
And the Sea-Horse swim to the palace of the God Neptunus. Just by chance, in front of the palace, he met the Mermaid.
“Princess,” say the Sea-Horse, “I think I’m the only horse in here. Quite recently, I hear that the God Neptunus have horses beside me, white horses!”
And, at that moment, the God Neptunus come. It’s true that he is look angry.
“My white horses?” ask the God Neptunus loudly. “Oh No… don’t you know that the sea waves are called "the white horses". Do you think that the horses are really horses? Hohoho… I never hear the stupid question like this! Ho, you really-really stupid!”
The Sea-Horse felt very sad when the God Neptunus insulted him, stupid. But the Mermaid comforted him immediately.
“Never mind,” whisper the Mermaid. “You just have assuaged the storm and that a clever did.”
